Korean National Association for Pharmceutical Students
Korean National Association for Pharmaceutical students (KNAPS) has been acting as a link to connect world pharmacy students to Korea after it was founded in 2007.
KNAPS is a non-governmental, non-religious, and non-political organization, consisting of 37 pharmacy schools and 2,500 students in Korea. After being approved as a full member in 2007 IPSF World Congress, KNAPS is representing the Republic of Korea every year in the IPSF world congress and Asia Pharmaceutical Students Symposium. KNAPS has hosted the 9th and the 15th APPS held respectively in Seoul and Ilsan, and we were selected as a host association of the 66th IPSF World Congress at the 64th IPSF General assembly.
Executive committees and each team they manage are in charge of the administration of KNAPS. The executive committees consist of the President, Vice-President, Secretary General, Treasurer, Contact person, Student exchange officer, chief of southern branch, Chief of academy & education, Chief of culture and information, Chief of plans and strategies, Chief of publication, and Chief of media & publication.
General assembly of KNAPS conducts the election of all executive committees, and approval of annual plans and official rules. All KNAPS members can take part in the event to exercise their rights by voting.
For annual events, we are holding National Congress, K Pharm Leaders’ Camp, Medical Awareness Campaign, Patient Counseling Event, Christmas party and so on. KNAPS also implements various workshops, pharmaceutical symposiums and introductory sessions to promote KNAPS and IPSF/APRO. Visit our website or Facebook page more updates.
