Where Seoul & Gyeongju

When 4th Aug ~ 7th Aug (3 nights and 4 days)

Gyeongju is the ancient capital of Silla, embracing its splendid national culture and history. Gyeongju was the capital city of Silla for 992 years. The history of Gyeongju, once called Seorabeol, is also the history of the thousand-year-old Silla Kingdom. Gyeongju embraces Buddhism, science, and vibrant ancient culture that blossomed by the artistry of the Silla people, and the great spirits of Hwarangdo that enabled the unification of the three kingdoms. Thus, Gyeongju is a UNESCO-designated city which should be preserved by the public. Through ‘Bulguksa Temple,’ and ‘Seokguram Grotto’ you can learn about the Buddhist history of the Silla Dynasty and experience the Buddhist culture of East Asia. In addition, Gyeongju, where various Korean cultures are gathered, can satisfy the five senses of tourists by seeing and enjoying traditional Korean village and traditional Korean food. And recently, Gyeongju World which is famous for its scary rides, was built so you can experience thrilling roller coasters in Gyeongju World.

We invite 2020 IPSF participants to “Gyeongju, where you can enjoy Korean history, Korean traditional culture, and Korean fun all at once.”
